The Space Shuttle Launch is over 15 stories tall, the external tank flanked by two booster rockets, which enabled the space shuttle to escape Earth’s gravity and send it into orbit. The two booster rockets would burn 9 tons of fuel per second, at a velocity of 3000 miles per hour.
It's time to escape Earth's gravity as you assemble this 3 sheet Metal Earth ICONX Space Shuttle Launch Kit! With 92 pieces to put together, push the parts gently from their backing sheets and thoughtfully begin your build, no glue required! Your shuttle, flanked with two booster rockets, is modelled after a deep-space ship that is 15 storeys tall and comes complete with shuttle nameplates! Bend the tabs and fit them into the slots provided. You'll need a steady hand and a lot of patience to complete your build. Once complete, choose from the nameplates: Atlantis, Discovery, Endeavor and Enterprise to finish your design! Note: It is highly recommended that you use a pair of tweezers or needle nose pliers for accuracy during your build.
